Hello and welcome to our website! Whether you're a prospective member or current member, there is plenty of information and resources here to get you started. The Pre-Vet Club is a great resource for students of all majors that hope to continue their education beyond undergraduate and pursue a DVM. Our goal is to help our members explore different areas of interest in the veterinary field through guest lecturers, veterinary school representatives, volunteer opportunities, field trips, and by networking with other veterinary and pre-veterinary students. Hopefully we can help clarify the sometimes murky details about being prepared for and getting into veterinary school, and to provide members with an excellent support group of like-minded, driven individuals with similar goals.
We run fundraisers during the year to help support the club and send our members on trips and to symposiums to further their experience and knowledge. Our main fundraising events include Fall and Spring Dog Washes, Canine Cancer Walk, and dog biscuit sales where all members are encouraged to participate in.
Our club has grown immensely in the past few years and we look forward to continuing to find new ways to learn and gain experience in the veterinary field. We are always open to new guest speakers, trips, volunteer opportunities and encourage our members to make suggestions!

A website specifically designed for planning study groups for classes has just been announced, and it's a vital tool to those of us in the tough pre-veterinary curriculum.
There has been talk about specific Pre-Vet study sessions, so keep your eye on this website and on Facebook for that. Feel free to create your own study groups as well and let us know!

When you click on "Pre-Veterinary Club Employers" and "Available Positions" you will be able to see the list of positions. This will allow you to contact prospective veterinary employers directly.
